The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is upcoming new game from the creators of a game Until Dawn, Supermassive Games. The game will be launched on October, 30th 2020 on Play Station 4, Xbox One and PC. So, the horror game about witches, voodoo magic and curses coming out on Halloween.
Due to the bad weather conditions, during their bus trip in the streets of New England, accident causes 5 main characters to be isolated in the mysterious town of Little Hope. Abandoned and all alone, 4 college students and their teacher become stranded in an isolated town miles from anywhere. Trapped by a mysterious fog in the town of Little Hope, they search desperately for a means of escape whilst visions from the past haunt them from the shadows.
The game presents multiple ways to play (single player story mode, couch co-op mode up to 5 players and online co-operative mode), hugely branching storyline that changes based on the decisions you make. Depending of yours decisions, all characters can live or die in your version of the story.
It’s the second of eight planned installments of The Dark Pictures Anthology series and successor to Man of Medan, first game in the series.
What is The Dark Pictures Anthology series?
The Dark Pictures is a series of intense and choice based horror games developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Each game in the Dark Pictures series is a complete and original story in its own right.
Throughout the games, players will make difficult decisions during ethical or moral dilemmas, such as sacrificing one character to save another. Every decision that players makes will have consequences and impact on ending of the game.
First installment of the game, Man of Medan was released on 30 August 2019 for Microsoft Windows, Play Station 4 and Xbox One. As mentioned earlier, the second installment, Little Hope will be released on 30 October 2020.
