A few months ago, we saw game publishers have trouble with releasing games because of the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. Another in a series of victims of COVID-19 is Mafia: Definitive Edition.
2K Games and studio Hangar 13 decided to postpone the release of this game for a month. Instead of the end of the August, as originally announced, Mafia: Definitive Edition will be released a month later, more precisely on September 25, 2020. The reasons for the delay are the slower work on the game due to COVID-19. As said, they do not want to compromise the quality of the game.
Still, there is good news, although the release of the game is delayed, 2K Games and studio Hangar 13 have announced an extended look at Mafia: Definitive Edition’s gameplay in just two weeks, more precisely on July, 22.
Although the Definitive Editions of Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 are already out, what we are most looking forward to is remake of Mafia 1. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer. I hope that they will not disappoint us.
